1. Please do not be late in dropping off and picking up your child. We charge $1.00 for every ten minutes late and will bill this amount to your statement.
2. Please note that any N.S.F. cheques will result in a $40.00 bank fee and must be rectified immediately, or lessons will end until such dilemma can be resolved.
3. Uniforms are a must, and must be worn, or student will sit. We are a professional school that insists on maintaining this professionalism each class.
4. Costumes are not the property of students until their account is paid in full and all terms of their contract are met.
5. Photo sessions will be booked ahead of time.
6. All costs are the responsibility of students/student's parents.
7. We ask that all try to sell tickets as this pays for our shows and ensures a show each year.
8. All payments are made consecutively and follow plans without failure or administration fees to manage a delinquent account, a bank charge of $40. Delinquent accounts will go to collections after two months.
9. Parents are asked to remain quiet and in the lobby. The change room is for the children.
10. No boyfriends or girlfriends allowed in the studio unless they dance for us.
11. NO CELL PHONES. Turn them off.
12. No refunds as of October 31st on costumes. No refunds on Fees as of November 1st. No refund on any unused tickets.
13. Rehearsals prior to show must be attended, no exceptions to the rule, or student cannot perform in the show.
14. We are closed when schools are closed. Check Holidays and Hours for more information.
Every company has rules and policies that not only ensure the safety of its employees, patrons and visitors, but keep order amongst the chaos. Finesse Dance Studio is no different. We have put in place a list of policies to help our students and their parents conduct themselves in an amicable manner that enables Finesse Dance Studio to continue being known for its family, and professional environment, excellent place for kids to be kids and parents, to drop their kids off and go be parents. Understand that under no circumstances are these policies meant to offend or hurry anyone to the door, unless of course, you break one... just kidding.
Terms:
1. In order to be a member of Finesse Dance Studio, represent Finesse Dance Studio while attending competitions, events, etc., we expect our students to fully understand how they should behave and conduct themselves. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, cruel, and unacceptable by the Director of Finesse or Co-ordinator of said events, will warrent terminatin of said membership immediately and without refund.
2. While attending competition, any unauthorized video taping of any competing choreography, will be warrant for dismissal there and then from membership with Finesse Dance Studio without refund.
3. Any inappropriate behavior by either student or student's parent while on the premises of Finesse Dance Studio, will also warrant dismissal form the studio with a warning. Repeated acts will result in the ending of membership.
4. Placement in classes is at the discretion of the teacher. We do not place friends together unless there is room and they are at the same level.
5. Memos and handouts, important information will be found on this web site. There will few handouts if any and one copy will be attached to studio bulletin boards, so I suggest that you visit the studio often to catch up on what's new and what's happening.
6. Parents are responsible for alterations of costumes. Any costume not altered will not be used in the show.
