Finesse Dance Studio Inc. was formed in late 1996 after its founder, Janet Slipak, discovered that her dance studio services were becoming ever increasingly popular. Starting from her home studio in Port Colborne, Ontario first supplied her dance lessons to local residents, schools, community events, television, and community charity organizations. Demand soon outstripped space, and Finesse Dance Studio Inc. expanded into a new location that also quickly became too small and wherein ensued a move into the larger and more accessible facility Finesse now calls home, located at 885 Elm Street, Port Colborne, Ontario, L3K 5K9.
Today not only does Finesse Dance Studio Inc. offer their innovative skills teaching dance to the community of Port Colborne, but through J.L. Slipak's published author status, offers other perks such as yearly dance calendars, and a dance book series, "For A Love Of Dance" distributed to all over the world with Finesse's students highlighted amongst their pages. Dance photoshoots has become the latest perk for Finesse students who love to have fun doing what they like best. An unique once in a life-time experience that is sure to benefit and reap awards on those who participate.
Finesse has now gone "GREEN" and uses the Internet for 90% of their information and registration services, not to mention incoming orders for their calendars and books' series, making Finesse Dance Studio a truly online company.
